The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of programming and systems analysis experience, including a minimum of five (5) years with COBOL, CICS, DYL280, and VSAM.

The successful candidate will join a team comprised of other programmers and analysts developing specifications, writing code, and testing code in support of an effort to implement data bridges between SAP and legacy systems; developing and testing enhancements and defects; and turning around quick service requests on behalf of our user community. The primary emphasis for this position will be on the data bridge implementation – the successful candidate will likely spend two-thirds of his or her time supporting this project, requiring interactions with other team members as well as integration leads on the SAP implementation.

This person will be expected to perform his or her tasks within timelines to be developed collaboratively between Management, the team lead, and other team members. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable interfacing with Management, other team members, and the user community.

This is a contract position for approximately four to six (4-6) months. The position is co-located with the remainder of the project team in Cypress, CA; the SAP implementation team is also in Cypress. The user community is split between Cypress and Kennesaw, GA. No travel is required. The successful candidate will take direction from the team lead and functionally report to a Department Manager. The data bridge implementation is a critical piece of the SAP project, and a very high priority for the company.

  • Provide project planning inputs that include tasks, durations of those tasks, and any dependencies between those tasks; provide updates as requested.
